How We Work
Transparency
We are not the kind of firm that pads the budget to justify unnecessary spending at the end of a contract. We provide the best estimate we can with transparent pricing. Any unused budget is left for your team to put to work on your next project.
We maintain a complete-as-possible list of services with clear pricing. When choosing partners for your projects, you shouldn’t have to wait for estimates to see rates.
Ethics
Our team has a strong sense of ethics, and as a privately held cooperative, we are not beholden to shareholder profits over people. In essence, we do the right thing even if it isn’t the most profitable. You can trust that our work will be culturally sensitive, collaborative, equitable, inclusive, and honest.
Structure
Lunar Mosaic has a unique operating model — we are a contractor cooperative. Every member of our team is paid the full value of their labor. If our estimate includes a rate of $50 per hour for graphic design, the designer is paid $50 per hours — no more, no less. Our standard overhead rate is 10%, where applicable, far below the industry standard of 120-150%, and we add no additional profit markups on our services. We do not believe in overcharging you or underpaying our people.
